Manitoba - Avid Golfers
An enthusiastic crown of Manitoba’s most avid golfers made it out to the Links at Quarry Oaks Golf Club to contest in the Golf Town National Amateur Series qualifier yesterday. Manitoba is golf crazed, and the players were so ripe for a true competitive series. 8 Flights were represented (all but the Women). Manitoba is looking to show strongly at the Championship and is setting goals high to win the Provincial Team game! See results on the Statistics page.
Eagles Nest - WINDY DAY

The Eagles Nest, Toronto's finest public facility, was one of the fullest qualifiers of the year. The field not only had one of the most difficult layouts to conquer, but also the strongest winds of the season on record. It made for a long day on the links, but those who managed to keep it in play benefited. 9 Flights were represented, and new champions were crowned. The Championship flight also came down to a playoff - Keith Joel who has been teeing it up with the Great Lakes Tour Professionals (as an Amateur) won the contest over Paul Lang. National Championship to be held at Angus Glen!
After much speculation as to where the Golf Town National Amateur Championship would be held, we've confirmed that the prestigious Angus Glen Golf Club will play host to the two day event. Those who qualify for the finals will be treated to one of the best courses Canada has to offer and will know that they're playing on the same fairways and greens (and bunkers) as PGA greats like 2007 Canadian Open winner Vijay Singh.
